A top Maoist guerrilla carrying a Rs 10-lakh reward has been arrested from the outskirts of Ranchi early on Monday, police said.
Santosh Yadav alias Tiger was arrested from his house at Pandara area where he was being treated after sustaining bullet injuries in a gun battle with security forces in Gumla district on Sunday.
He had been admitted at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science.
Three other Moaists, including Gajju Gope, commander of the banned Maoist outfit People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), were killed in the gun battle.
Nine Maoist guerrillas belonging to PLFI have been killed so far this year.
