Masaba Gupta collaborates with FabAlley for new line

Fashion designer Masaba Gupta has collaborated with online fashion portal FabAlley to create a line titled Misprint by Masaba x FabAlley.

The collection, which launched on Monday, consists of 67 styles, providing women with options for every type of occasion, be it work, parties or even vacations. The collection leads with Masaba's well-known signature prints.

"The line has a wide variety of styles that cater to people of different aesthetics and tastes. It comprises easy to wear, chic silhouettes from crop tops to shirts, skater skirts to maxi dresses, wrap dresses and jumpsuits," Masaba said in a statement.

The designer added: "The prints have been inspired from everyday objects, which have been portrayed in a monochromatic palette with bursts of color. Vintage motifs like gramophone mixed with nautical lines, brush strokes, angular shapes and florals, are major inspirations behind the collection."

FabAlley's co-founders Tanvi Malik and Shivani Poddar said: "We have been exploring a potential collaboration with a leading Indian designer who relates with FabAlley's design philosophy for a while now, and in Masaba we found a perfect partner."
