A suspected mastermind behind several high-profile terror attacks and "trained by Afghan and Indian intelligence agencies", has been arrested in Balochistan, an official has said.
Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti told a press conference here on Tuesday that Saeed Ahmed alias Taqva and two of his associates were arrested by the security agencies, Dawn online reported.
"The main suspect is the commander of a banned militant group."
Saeed Ahmed confessed to killing Barrister Amanullah Achakzai, Bilal Anwar Kasi, the Principal of a law college, and the President of Balochistan Bar Association, among others, Bugti said.
He also confessed to facilitating the August 8 Civil Hospital suicide bombing in Balochistan that left more than 70 persons dead, the state Home Minister added.
