The historic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the final of Australia's domestic Twenty20 tournament Big Bash League (BBL) here on Sunday.
The Melbourne Stars defeated the Perth Scorchers by seven wickets on Saturday at the MCG and will take on Sydney Thunder -- who had qualified earlier -- in the summit clash.
With the Stars finishing second on the points table, they won the right to host the final at the MCG, after top of the table Adelaide Strikers were defeated by Sydney Thunder.

Sunday will also see a double header as the women's BBL final will take place before the men's title decider. The women's final will witness fierce local rivalry as Sydney Thunder will take on Sydney Sixers.
