Meerra Guptaa launches flagship store

Fashion designer Meerra Guptaa has launched her flagship store named Meeraz that has a collection of traditional wear like saris and anarkalis.

The collection by Guptaa offers an assortment of saris in georgette with brocade borders and delicate embroideries. The anarkalis offered by the store are with empire lines and embellished, sewn in hand-woven fabrics.

"It's been a fabulous journey for the past seven years designing for my customers on a personalized basis. My collection emphasises fluidity in perfect harmony," Guptaa said in a statement.

The collection is a combination of two or more fabrics like dupion, chanderi, chambray, net, organza, cotton, lace, georgette.

The colours used are mostly combinations of nude with a darker shade, or a combination of two nude shades and powder blue colour.

Guptaa is also planning to launch three more stores in the national capital by the end of next year.
