Meeting convened to discuss security for travelling public: Railways

Railways Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu Wednesday said a high-level meeting comprising heads of all state police forces has been convened in Delhi on Jan 15 to discuss the best possible security arrangements for the travelling public.

The minister pointed to the need for seamless security arrangements for the travelling public.

The minister said it is necessary to bring a change in the behaviour of the railway personnel at all levels so that a good image of the railways is created.

The minister added that he has asked his ministry to organise training on behavioral issues to the RPF personnel.
