Actress Meghna Naidu has been roped in to play a ruthless journalist in upcoming Marathi film "Dev Devharyat Nahi".
"I am playing a hardcore ruthless journalist. I chose to do this movie because the story is based on true events and very rarely actors get to do true story movies... My character is a strong headed woman but she also has a heart which comes out in the end of the film," Meghna said in a statement.
"Dev Devharyat Nahi" will also feature Reena Aggarwal, Vikram Gokhale and Suhasini Mulay.
The film has been produced by Nitin Upadhaya and directed by Pravein Birje.
Meghna is best known for her roles in southern and Bollywood films like "Prudhvi Narayana", "Katthegalu Saar Katthegalu", "Mashooka" and "Vaitheeswaran".
Besides films, Meghna has also made a name for herself on the small screen. She was last seen on the popular Colors show "Sasural Simar Ka".
