Software giant Microsoft India Tuesday announced its partnership with city-based JIS Group for setting up its innovation centre here.

This is Microsoft's first and only tie-up in the country's eastern region.

The innovation centre will allow students access to the software firm's laboratory facilities.

The software giant has partnership with 10 other educational institutions across the country and about 8,000 students are enrolled in the programme.
