Militants attack J&K guard post

Militants on Sunday attacked a security guard post outside the Charar-e-Sharief shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district and escaped with the weapon of an injured policeman, officials said.

"A policeman posted at the guard post has been injured in this attack. The militants later escaped with the his rifle. The area has been cordoned off for searches," the officials said.
