Missing boy's body found in canal

The body of an 11-year-old boy who went missing a day earlier was recovered from a canal in east Delhi on Wednesday morning, police said.

Danish, a Class 7 student, went out to play on Tuesday with his friends. All of them jumped into the canal to take a bath where he drowned, police said.

Danish's body was recovered from the canal near the Ashok Nagar Metro station early on Wednesday, a police official told IANS.
