Modi arrives in Kathmandu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here Tuesday to attend the 18th Saarc Summit to be held Nov 26-27.

Modi, who arrived in a special Indian Air Force aircraft, is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and witness the signing of a number of bilateral agreements with the Himalayan nation later in the day.

He is also likely to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of the member states of the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (Saarc) on the sidelines of the summit.
