Modi greets people of Gujarati New Year
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted people on the occasion of the Gujarati New Year.
"To all my dear sisters and brothers of Gujarat - Saal Mubarak! I pray for a joyful, peaceful and prosperous year ahead," Modi tweeted.
Saal Mubarak is a traditional Hindu Gujarati greeting reserved for use on Diwali and the Gujarati New Year, which falls a day after Diwali.
