The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Sunday took a dig at the poor performance by the Congress in the assembly polls and congratulated BJP leaders on their victory.
"The total number of seats Congress has won in all the four states today (Sunday) cannot even match the seats BJP won in one state!" Modi said in a tweet.
He congratulated Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Chhattisgarh's Raman Singh as also the chief ministerial candidates from Delhi and Rajasthan, Harsh Vardhan and Vasundhara Raje.
"Congrats to @ChouhanShivraj @VasundharaBJP @drramansingh and @drharshvardhan & their teams for efforts that ensured BJP's great performance," Modi wrote.
