Modi takes salute at Red Fort

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a ceremonial guard of honour on Saturday when he reached the Red Fort on the occasion of India's 69th Independence Day.

Modi will deliver his second August 15 speech since becoming the prime minister in May last year.
