Actor-politician Manchu Mohan Babu, along with his family, visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House here on Tuesday to invite him for the wedding of his second son Manchu Manoj.
Mohan Babu was accompanied by his sons Vishnu, Manoj and daughter Lakshmi.
"The family had visited Modi ji to invite him for the wedding of Manoj. Modi ji happily accepted the invitation and was fascinated by its design and art work. The card was designed by renowned painter Ramesh Gurazada," a source close to Manchu family told IANS.
"PM Modi, who was really touched by the family's gesture to invite him, said that he will try to attend the wedding if it doesn't clash with his China trip," the source added.
Manoj, a popular Telugu actor, will tie the knot to Pranathi in Hyderabad on May 20.
The Manchu family clicked selfies with Modi and shared them on social media sites.
