The four-day long monsoon session of the Bihar assembly began here on Monday.
This is the last session of the current assembly. The state is going to the polls later this year.
According to political analysis, the short session is likely to be stormy as the opposition led by the BJP will try to corner the Nitish Kumar government on several issues, including the law and order and corruption.
The session began with an address by Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary. Later, the assembly was adjourned for the day.
During the session, the state government will lay out the supplementary budget for 2015-16.
