More Indian migrants in New Zealand

Indian and Chinese migrants made up for the majority of the 45,000 migrants in New Zealand by the end of September, authorities said Tuesday.

Nearly 105,500 migrants arrived in New Zealand last September, while migrant departures fell, Xinhua quoted Statistics New Zealand as saying.

According to records till September this year, 9,100 migrants from India stayed, while 7,000 from China, 5,300 from Britain and 3,400 from the Philippines decided to stay.
