More Lok Sabha members took oath Friday, including BJP's Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Congress's Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
Among those who took oath Friday were Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav (RJD) and his wife Ranjeet Ranjan (Congress).
Naramalli Sivaprasad (TDP), Prakash Babanna Hukkeri (BJP), Jagdambika Pal (BJP) and B.B. Patil (TRS) also took oath.
After eight-time Indore MP Sumitra Mahajan was elected the speaker, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu thanked pro tem speaker Kamal Nath as well as Lok Sabha Secretary General P. Sreedharan for conducting the oath-taking process of the new members.
The secretary general created a record by ensuring oath of over 510 members on a single day, Naidu said.
