North Korea will intensify anti-US education among its young soldiers and civilians as it was a strong ideological weapon against the war moves and sanctions by Washington, an official daily said on Monday.
Rodong Sinmum, the official daily of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, said in an editorial that the US is making desperate efforts to deprive North Korea of its sovereignty, and the right to existence and development after the latter has developed nuclear and missile capacities, reports Xinhua news agency.
"If anti-US class consciousness is paralysed among the younger generations, the revolution would be left unfinished and the whole nation would be slave of the US imperialists," it said.
The editorial also said the US is "afraid of the ideological and moral strength of the army and people of the North Korea equipped with transparent class consciousness".
