The head of Napoli's medical staff confirmed that footballer Lorenzo Insigne could recover from his injury in four to six months.
Insigne sustained a cruciate ligament injury in his right knee during Napoli's win over Fiorentina, reports Xinhua.
Dr. Alfonso De Nicola, head of the club's medical staff, dismissed concerns that the diminutive playmaker's season would be written off, saying that he could be back in four months.
"The operation allows total recovery in a relatively short period of time. The important thing is for Lorenzo to come back at 100 percent, even stronger than before. The recovery time is four to six months, depending on the case," de Nicola said.
