Actor Naveen Pandita has been roped in to play Karma, a negative character, in the show "Jiji Maa".
The show produced by Kinnari Mehta under her production house has been dominated by women since its inception. It already has actresses Pallavi Pradhan and Charu Asopa playing negative characters.
Soon, the audience will get to see Naveen as a negative character. He will play Charu's on-screen boyfriend.
"Male negative characters are rare on Indian television. The character that I'm playing is completely opposite of who I am. So, it is definitely a challenging role," Naveen said in a statement.
"The entire cast is most welcoming. Looking forward to the audience's response," he added.
