Nigeria's largest church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has announced to build an auditorium with three square km area by 2014.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of RCCG, made the announcement Saturday during the holy ghost service at the redemption camp in Mowe area of Ogun state, Xinhua reported.
The service is one of the programmes lined up for the 61st annual convention of the church.
Adeboye said the new auditorium will be built at the mission's camp ground on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The cleric said the existing auditorium built in 2000 with a capacity of one million people was no longer enough to accommodate millions of people attending church service.
The project will be completed before the 62nd convention of RCCG in Aug 2014, he said.
He urged members to make generous donations for the project.
