The Indian subsidiary of Japanese automobile firm Nissan Motor Company last month recorded a 48 percent growth in sales over the like period of last year, the company said Tuesday.
In a statement issued here, Nissan Motor India said it sold 4,362 vehicles last month up from 2,949 units sold in June 2013.
According to the company, its Datsun Go model contributed 1,097 units to the total sales. The company also sells Micra another small car.
The company has sold 14,684 units during the first quarter of the current fiscal as against 6,268 units sold during the comparable period last fiscal.
