Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said there will be no compromise on the country's prestige and honour.
"I want to assure the people that the country's honour and prestige will not be compromised with and its head will always remain high," the minister said while interacting with the media here.
He also praised the Indian armed forces and said they have the backing of the entire country.
Rajnath Singh is on a two-day visit to the Ladakh region as part of the Centre's outreach to Jammu and Kashmir.
The minsiter is meeting delegations of political parties, civil society groups and individuals and taking their suggestions on the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
