The Noida Authority on Monday said that it will soon open a new eight-floor parking facility in sector 18 here to provide relief to commuters.
According to the authority, the new parking facility costs approximately Rs.212 crore and will be opened to the public from July 31, 2016.
"Parking has always been an issue in Noida. A multi-level parking is helpful for the people for preventing congestion caused on the roads due to haphazardly parked vehicles," said Saumya Srivastava, deputy chief executive, Noida Authority.
The authority elaborated that the new parking will be able to accommodate approximately 3,000 cars.
The authority added that the parking facility, whose construction started in July 2013, is conveniently located near Noida Film City.
People in Noida have been facing inconvenience due to lack of parking spaces and congested roads.
