If all goes as planned, some girl power may be coming to add weight to the Hollywood's "Spider-Man" franchise.
Sony Pictures is said to be planning to expand the franchise by recruiting one of its female superheroes for a spin-off film, reports deadline.com.
The studio hopes to release the film as early as 2017.

"This hasn't been on my mind. But it's an interesting idea," he had told eonline.com.
