Actor Oliver Hudson has welcomed his third child, a daughter, with actress wife Erin Bartlett. She has been named Rio.
The baby was delivered Thursday, reports people.com.
Actress-filmmaker Goldie Hawn, who is Hudson's mother, was excited about becoming a grandmother again. She took to micro-blogging site Twitter to announce the news.
"Welcome Rio! Our first baby girl to join our family! Oliver and Erinn thank you for bringing so much joy to our lives! happiness," Hawn tweeted.
The couple already have two sons -- three-year-old Bodhi Hawn and five-and-a-half years old Wilder Brooks.
