Two-time Olympic champion Mijain Lopez heads the Cuban delegation to the World Wrestling Championship to be held from Sep 8 to 14 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Lopez, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympic champion, will be accompanied in the Greco-Roman style by Pablo Shorey (85kg), silver medallist in Moscow 2010, and Ismael Borrero (59), Pan American gold in Mexico 2014 and Panama 2013, reports Xinhua quoting Jit, official site of the National Sports Institute.
In the free-style category, Cuba will be represented by the Olympic bronze winner Livan Lopez (74), Reineris Salas (86), and Yowly Bonne (61) together with Javier Cortina (97), who will debut at the world level.
