It was a sunny Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead with chances of light rainfall and thunderstorm.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
"The day ahead will be partly overcast. Rain and thunderstorm is expected by afternoon," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 71 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
