The meeting would be held in Islamabad at noon Thursday.

It would be attended by the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, the Muttahida Quami Movement and the Awami National Party.

Earlier, the government said it plans to file a review petition against the Supreme Court order calling for the arrest of Ashraf and 16 others over corruption charges.

The prime minister is accused of taking kickbacks for power projects when he was power minister.

The government also denied having been informed of any arrest order against the prime minister.
