Tickets for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games will go on sale to Brazilian residents on September 7, organisers said.
The launch will mark the one-year countdown to the opening ceremony at the Maracana stadium, according to Rio2016.com.
Fans from other countries can apply for tickets via authorised resellers in their regions.
"The first phase is the best time, as there will be the greatest availability of tickets," Xinhua reported on Tuesday quoting Rio 2016 ticketing director Donovan Ferreti.
An online first-come-first-served sales phase for Brazilian residents will occur in January. The last batch of tickets will be sold at box offices in June.
In total, there will be 3.3 million tickets for 23 sports disciplines at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
