A partly cloudy sky on Saturday gave Delhiites a little respite from the scorching heat during the day with the evening turning out comparatively cooler.
The day's maximum temperature was 38.1 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal, while the minimum was 25.0 degrees, the weather official said.
The clouds kept the temperature in check but there was no rain during the day.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 35.5 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 25.0 degrees Celsius.
According to the Met office, the same pattern of temperature would continue for the next few days.
"Haze is very likely to occur towards morning/evening," the Met department said.
However, there are no chances of rain in the city in the next 2-3 days, the weather office added.
