It was a humid Thursday morning with a partly cloudy sky here with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, the Met office said.
"The sky will be partly cloudy through out the day. Rains are not expected today," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 79 per cent, though the weather office said it would drop as the day passes.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 36.1 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
