Superstar Pawan Kalyan has decided to supervise the script of his upcoming Telugu actioner "Gabbar Singh 2". The film's director Sampath Nandi has no qualms about his interference.
"This is a very special project for Pawan sir. He will supervising the script with me and I don't have any issues with it. After all, at the end of the day a film is not a one-man show. It's a team work and I'm happy that we are working together," Sampath told IANS.
Pawan, who has been a successful actor for nearly two decades, donned the hat of a script supervisor a decade ago with his film "Gudumba Shankar".
Sampath clarifies that the film will not be an extension of Telugu blockbuster "Gabbar Singh", which was a remake of Bollywood blockbuster "Dabbang".
"Although it's a sequel, 'Gabbar Singh 2' is not an extension of 'Gabbar Singh'. The regular shooting will commence from May onwards and we plan to release the film for Dussehra. We are still in the process of zeroing in on the rest of the cast," he added.
Pawan will co-produce the film with his close friend Sharath Marar, while Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music.
