Dozens of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activists staged a protest march here on Thursday seeking revocation of the Governor's order turning the Jammu and Kashmir Bank into a public sector undertaking.
The PDP activists led by senior leader and former Minister Naeem Akhtar took out the march in Srinagar seeking a rollback of Governor Satya Pal Malik's decision.
"Turning J&K Bank into a PSU is an assault on the economy of Jammu and Kashmir," Akhtar said. "We want the Governor to revoke it. We won't relent until the order is revoked."
