Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the people of Bihar see the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as a "ray of hope" and it indicates that "people want change".
"Atmosphere in Bihar indicates people want change. The people see the NDA as a ray of hope. Will campaign in Madhubani, Madhepura and Katihar," Modi tweeted.
He also appealed to voters, particularly the youth, to vote in large numbers.
Voting in the fourth and penultimate phase of assembly elections, involving 55 assembly constituencies, began on Sunday.
The polls to the 243-member Bihar assembly started on October 12. The final round of elections will be held on November 5.
The counting of votes is slated for November 8.
