Singer Katy Perry says she had a crush on boyfriend John Mayer even before they started dating.
Perry, 28, feels that together, they make a perfect match, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time, and it just so happens we fit together great," W magazine quoted Perry as saying.
After going through some rough patches in their over-a-year-old relationship, the couple is now going strong.Before dating Mayer, Perry was married to British comedian Russell Brand for 14 months. They parted ways in 2011.
