A hat, famously worn by Singer-rapper Pharrell William at the 2014 Grammy Awards, is up for grabs.
The 40-year-old won four trophies at the music awards gala last month, but it was his oversized accessory that had TV viewers talking. Now he has given up the headwear for charity, reports contactmusic.com.
In partnership with auction website eBay.com, Williams is offering the Vivienne Westwood-designed hat to benefit his a non-profit organisation.
"I'm giving up the Buffalo Hat I wore to the Grammys to help undeserved kids get the educational tools they need. Our organization, From One Hand to Another, is committed to bringing kids experiences that ignite their passions, challenge their minds and prepare them for success," he said.
The hat went on sale Thursday, and within hours, bids for the item had reached $10,500 (6,301 pounds).
The auction runs until March 2.
