Play restarted after an hour-long interruption due to rain on the third day of the lone cricket Test between India and Bangladesh at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium here on Friday.

The skies had opened up just after lunch was taken following an uninterrupted morning session. Heavy showers lashed the ground, forcing the players to stay inside the pavilion after lunch.

India were at 398/3 at lunch with Murali Vijay (144 not out) and Ajinkya Rahane (55 not out) at the crease.

Rain had also led to the curtailment of play on Day 1 and washed out the second day's play.
