A misty, nippy morning gave way to a sunny, pleasant Monday and the maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 25.3 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected Tuesday, the Met office said.
"There will be light fog in early morning as well as late evening tomorrow (Tuesday) - the day would be bright and pleasant," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 25 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Monday's minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 9.6 degrees Celsius
The maximum humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 97 percent. The weather Sunday was pleasant with the maximum and the minimum temperature at 26 degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius respectively.
