The national capital is likely to experience a pleasant weather on Diwali Thursday, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain clear through the day and there will be light mist towards the evening," said an official from the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
Thursday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 18.2 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 93 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 34.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 18.0 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
