The national capital witnessed a pleasant Wednesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius, normal for the season. The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy Thursday, with thick fog in the morning.
The maximum and the minimum temperatures on Thursday were likely to hover around 26 and 13 degrees Celsius, respectively.
"Thursday morning will be foggy. The sky is likely to be partly cloudy throughout the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Wednesday's minimum temperature settled at 13.5 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average. Due to fog, the visibility decreased to 800 metres in the morning.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 26.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
