Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday inaugurate the 10th annual convention of the Central Information Commission (CIC) here, an official said.
The two-day convention will have the theme of 'RTI: Outlook for the future - Trust through Transparency'.
"The annual convention is important in view of completion of one decade of enactment of the Right to Information (RTI) Act," the ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions said in a statement.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will also address the convention, where Minister of State in the PMO, Jitendra Singh, will be present.
