Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino and Manchester United striker Anthony Martial have been named best coach and player of the month of September in the English Premier League (EPL).
Pochettino, who led the Spurs to three consecutive victories in September, against Sunderland (1-0), Crystal Palace (1-0) and Manchester City (4-1), on Friday achieved his second award for best coach of the month since arriving in England, Efe reported.
The Argentine coach, 43, was already been honoured with this award in October 2013, when he was the coach of Southampton.
Young Frenchman Martial received the award for best player in September only 43 days after arriving in England.
The 19-year-old attacker, who arrived at United from Monaco in a multimillion transfer, scored three goals last month.
