Financial sector, software services and products company Polaris Financial Technology Ltd. has decided to focus on four verticals for its services business, said a top company official here Wednesday.
Speaking at the company's annual general meeting, chairman Arun Jain said: "Over the two decades of focus in the BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) domain means that vertically focussed services and solutions would be the sweet spot for Polaris, going forward".
"As we set out to make the business plan for the year, our company has chosen four areas to drive the next level of growth - digital banking, payments, risk and compliance and data and analytics," he said.
"This portfolio rationalisation means that we will have to make difficult choices of giving up a few engagements, where our vertical expertise is not leveraged," he added.
