The 3D action-adventure-romantic drama "Pompeii", which is set for international release Feb 21, will hit the Indian screens on the same day.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, the story is set in 79 AD and follows the life of Milo, a slave- turned-gladiator played by Kit Harington. He finds himself in a race against time to save his love Cassia, portrayed by Emily Browning.
"A love story in its heart, the film has some stunning visual effects along with gladiator action set in the historical Roman city of Pompeii which makes the experience of viewing the film a lot more majestic as you watch a fight for love amidst a crumbling city," Deepak Sharma, chief operating officer, PVR Pictures Ltd., said in a statement.
"...we'd be coming right alongside the international release on the 21st of February," he added.
