Singer Niall Horan, who underwent a major knee surgery recently, has requested his fans to respect his privacy while he recovers.
The One Direction band member took to Twitter to inform his fans that his surgery was successful, reports contactmusic.com.
"I've had major knee surgery , a much larger surgery than first anticipated. But I would like to tell you, it was a complete success, considering the scale of it. So all I ask of you guys is that you would respect my privacy as I try to recover," Horan tweeted recently.
This comes just three months before the One Direction star is set to go on tour with his bandmates.
