Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath has said Prashant Kishore -- the person seen by many as the master strategist for the Congress for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections -- was just an advisor.
"Prashant Kishore was just an advisor; he was not executive... he was not a party insider. He had a lot of ideas but not all of his ideas were necessarily accepted," Kamal Nath said in an interview with Times Now channel aired on Tuesday.
Kishore shot to fame after he managed the campaigning for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He is said to be the man behind the Janata Dal-United and Rashtriya Janata Dal alliance in the Bihar assembly elections in 2015.
