Real Madrid's football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has said he prefers Madrid to Paris and it feels good to live in the Spanish capital, but joked that "maybe one day things will change".
"Maybe I'll get myself a girlfriend there and spend more time there," he said on Thursday, reports Efe.
Although the player did not explicitly refer to a possible offer from French side Paris Saint-Germain, he said that he loves living in Madrid and will possibly stay in Spain when he ends his career.
"I have family working in France but I'm not thinking about living in Paris. It's a beautiful city and I've been there several times but it doesn't do it for me," he explained.
The Portuguese international, 30, admitted that sometimes he regrets his actions but considers these setbacks are part of his personality and that part of learning is not making the same mistakes.
"If I am like this, and everything I have achieved in football is because I'm this way, nobody can ask me to change," the star player insisted.
"I am fascinated by being an example through my work.
"Ever since I started playing I have tried to represent my country in the best possible way, and at the personal level I always do my job to perfection," Ronaldo declared.
