A 73-year-old property dealer was found murdered in central Delhi early Tuesday, police said.
The body of Naresh Kumar Bansal was recovered around 1 a.m. in Daryaganj.
"Bansal's neck was slashed with a sharp-edged weapon. His body was lying in the service lane around 50 metres far from Shanti Van," Deputy Commissioner of Police Parmaditya told IANS.
"We are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder," he said.
Bansal stayed in east Delhi's Laxmi Nagar area and ran a property related business from Chandni Chowk in central Delhi.
Police said that Bansal had come to Daryaganj Monday evening with his son.
"We are trying to collect information about Bansal's movement that can lead us to collect some information behind his murder," another officer, close to the investigation, told IANS.
